We’re right in the thick of it. Right in the best season for the best music. Out of that terrible thing called winter and deeper and deeper into that sprung-ass season, Spring. Time-tested artists banging out new music to ready themselves for this year's sure to be hot festival season, Management finally letting new artists release music. It’s all gravy, baby. We, the people, are the ones who benefit. 'Cause I’m discovering quality every day and I’m ALWAYS psyched to share it with you. Y’all should be grateful I’m not a DJ, storing these hits for my own benefit.

New music from Cookie Monsta, Lindsay Lowend, RUSKO, Worthy, Classixx and M Machine. OH BOY. Here we go.

VENOIR - NA NA NA

Wow this song came out of nowhere. It’s like Grimes bred with Charli XCX and got Jack U to a produce a track for her and not even take credit. This right here is the emergence of a sexy new poster that’s not gonna go away for the entire year. Get ready to hear this song much more than you want to.

COOKIE MONSTA - HIGH AS HELL

This is some of the funkiest, bounciest, wobbliest, breaks-influenced dubstep I’ve come across in a long time. This is that fun shit. Not that too aggressive you can’t hang shit, just riiiight. This is gonna get blasted through every suh dudes aux cord all season long.

THE JACKSONS - SHAKE YOUR BODY (JET BOOT JACK REMIX)

Everybody loves the Jacksons. Sure, funk DJs seem to have a *special* affinity for them, but that’s because that fam has always been funky as fuck (especially little Michael's love life). This Jet Boot Jack Remix just popped up on my soundcloud, but I can’t not share a track this good.

LINDSAY LOWEND & AVIDD - OOOH!

Lindsay Lowend makes some of the most enjoyable weird-bass-trap music. More recently, he’s been building a backlog of spacey shit, minimal, ethereal compositions that you can’t really dance to. This collaboration with avidd is a return to form, something so weird and fun that you can’t help but dance to it. Glad to see you back making dancing music, Lindsay.

RUSKO - MASSIVE

Sure, I’m excited to see Rusko b2b Caspa on pretty much every good bass music festival. I’m excited to see these two dudes bring dubstep back to more pure form. Back when it was dance music and not so heavy it hurts. This two-step jah influenced dubstep tune is a wonderful harken back to what the genre used to be. Pure wobble.

WORTHY - BIG END

Worthy NEVER misses. He’s got one of the best, most singular voices in bass-house (being as OG Dirtybird as they come always helps). This funky, freaky track about everyone’s fav, Big Booty Bitches, is a surefire pool party banger all summer long. This Ain’t Bristol’s most recent compilation has got it going on, full of amazing artists delivering the heat.

BEYOND THE WIZARDS SLEEVE - DIAGRAM GIRL (BEYOND THE WIZARDS SLEEVE RE-ANIMATION)

I know I posted the original a couple of weeks back but now Erol Alkan’s indie-dance psych project has gone in one deeper and remixed (re-animated) itself to a whole new level. The first iteration of this track I found quite underwhelming. But now this is a piece of dance psych history. These dudes have a full-length album coming out soon and I hope every psychedelic-head out there can barely sit still.

TRITONAL FEAT. STEPH JONES - BLACKOUT (CYANTIFIC REMIX)

Oh a big festival ready, drum & bass remix of a big festival ready, Tritonal trance original. This is what remixes are supposed to be… transform a song into an even hotter one to fit in the genre you play in.  Jeeze, it really is April isn’t it?!

MANILA KILLA - ALL THAT'S LEFT FT. JONI FATORA (THE M MACHINE REMIX)

A mere two years ago, The M Machine were just releasing banging electro tunes. But it seems like a whole world has passed since then. Do people even remember the M Machine of old?  Now they make such strange and beautiful bass-house tunes. Their transformation is so much more complete and rewarding with each new track. They have blossomed into quite the M Butterfly.

CLASSIXX - JUST LET GO FEAT. HOW TO DRESS WELL

Who knew that Classixx’ summery indie-dance and How to Dress Well’s gloomy wintery R&B would make for the perfect Spring tune? Well me, duh. That’s why I’m sharing it with you.  Making sure you’re all up to snuff with the stuff that crushes it out there.

OKAY BAE, BYE.
