BEST INDIE POP: KNGDAVD - BLOOD ON OUR HANDS
Put some pep back in your step with this newly-released track from KNGDAVD called “Blood on Our Hands,” a really delightful song that is highly recommended by Ken (that's me) from We Are: The Guard. You will love it. No money back, guaranteed!
KNGDAVD - BLOOD ON OUR HANDS
The new act on the block, KNGDAVD is as fresh as they come. Not much is known about them, but their music has already gotten music lovers around the world talking, and it is mostly praising. Besides having an intriguing series of retro-based cover art featuring olde tyme femmes up to no good, their music has been pretty damn good also. Hot off the heels of their previous two releases “You Never Know” and “Shame”, KNGDAVD has saved the absolutely best for last (we hope not the last) with “Blood On Our Hands.”
While the previous two tracks might be considered an acquired taste, their newest one is pure, unadulterated fire with the potential to put this humble duo on the map of popular music. There's a slight hint of Adam Levine overlayed with a slight haze and buzz in the vocals. It has all the right ingredients -- loud and boisterous instrumentals with guitar riffs and the lot, creating a idea of grandeur that can only be eclipsed by the choral backing during the hook and at the climax of the song. Are we at a theater performance? It certainly seems so, and it feels fantastic. I cannot get rid of this euphoric tingle on the back of my neck. Theatrical composition is where the direction of alternative rock is going.
