Leave the digging to us, that’s what we’re here for, besides we hate tan lines and we’re pretty freaking good at what we do in case you have not yet noticed. By the time you’re done scrolling through our selection you’ll be left craving more, and lucky for you, we’ve made it easy to play new indie music because we have all the songs available on our Spotify playlist. CHLOE LILAC - SUMMER

Musicians who live in New York city have an advantage over artists from other cities. The city is bursting with inspiration and those who know how to capture it’s magic come out thriving with meaningful songs that inspire listeners. Such is the case with singer - songwriter Chloe Lilac, who with her latest single “Summer” wooes our ears with a playful melody, a sense of innocence, and an attitude that rocks.

LADY LESHURR - BLACK MADONNA FT MR EAZI

Lady Leshurr knows hot to pack a track with heat. In  “Black Madonna,” she’s enlisted the vocals of Mr. Eazi and together the two deliver a single that satisfies our need for grime. Though nobody will ever come close to being like the immortal Madonna, major prop goes out to Leshurr for letting loose on this one. Yes, she most certainly can be dubbed the black Madonna.

SILK CITY, DUA LIPA - ELECTRICITY FT DIPLO, MARK RONSON

Forget about feeling butterflies in your stomach, Dua Lipa makes you feel all shook up and electrified, like lightning running through your body with one look at the video for “Electricity.” It’s SEXY and Sexy and Sexy. Super hot model/singer dancing around in her undies to a banging beats is dangerous for those with a heart condition. Watch with caution.

LAUREN AQUILINA - PSYCHO

Everyone by now should know not lie to any woman in any sort of way because deep down inside we all have psychotic tendencies that are ready to come out the moment we smell lies. Some of us slash tires while others like Lauren Aquilina choose a non violent alternative like writing killer songs that express everything you are feeling and then some.

KANYE WEST & LIL PUMP FT. ADELE GIVENS  - I LOVE IT

To stay relevant you have to push buttons and stir up the people. This isn’t anything new we know that because of history. Scandalous topics get views, like when Kim K. “leaked” her sex tape (does it even count as a sex tape though?), her mentions skyrocketed and the rest is Kartrashian history. This time around it’s Kanye’s turn to take one for the Kardashian team and slap a sizzling beat on lyricaly comical track.

JAC/HOLY WATER

JAC enters our world with a wave of electronic pop bliss. Though not his first attempt at a single, “Holy Water” is a stunning introduction to the indie artist whom we know very little about. Other than creating gorgeously layered textures accompanied with a soothing voice, the Indianapolis native is a sight for sore eyes.

LCMDF - THANK GOD I DIDN’T GET TO KNOW YOU AT ALL

My heart was usually invested before I was ever able to say “Thank God I Didn’t Get To Know You At All,” but then again Tinder didn’t exist back then and I didn’t care for dating much. Those who are pros at tindering though can relate to pop punk female duo LCMDF’s playful lyrics “Thank God I didn’t get to love you at all. I’m happy you’re so easy to get rid of.” Ladies and gents, make this your go to track as you get ready for that one time hook-up of yours.

ZHU - LIGHT IT UP FT. TOKIMONSTA

And now for a much needed break. ZHU and TOKiMONSTA join their geniuses to create a lush audio escape. Crawl into a nook and let yourself go to the feel good energy that loops from start to end.

JOJI - SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK

Every time Joji comes on I feel like I’m floating on clouds. And we’re totally 100% behind the comment of YouTuber Nivedya Raj “This is the kinda song u listen to at 2 am to calm tf down and go to sleep instead of slipping into the hole of weird YouTube recommendations.” Joji’s debut album Ballads 1 drops soon, no date as of now, but we anxiously will be right here in the same balled up position waiting.

LANY - THICK AND THIN

Lany is serving up some major bedroom pop vibes with “Thick and Thin.” The delivery is worthy of a slow dance with your bea under a bed of stars or heck use the lyrics as wedding vows, they’re perfect. “Thick and Thin” forms part of the bands upcoming album Malibu Nights.

WIN TICKETS TO SEE PPL MVR, JESSE SAINT JOHN & MXMS (Contest on Hive.co)

Beca Arredondo is easily unamused with all things not related to her interests. On her good days you can catch her avoiding the California sun and glued to her Mac plotting the next big thing. If you happen to run into her on the street and notice her wearing headphones do NOT disturb her. She is not responsible for any possible damage. Aside from the above she's very sweet and perky and responds well to good music and food.
