If you are bored out of your mind or fighting the Summer time sadness you can do what we do errday. Slap on your favorite pair of headphones, grab a muffin top, and wave your boredom goodbye because we’ve got 10 new indie pop songs that will make you want to move and I promise you all that after dancing and sweating to the beats your body will be beach ready or your money back. Just kidding, on the money but totally serious about the featured tracks from Carlie Hanson, Clara Mae, 6lack, and more.

KIIARA - MESSY (R3HAB REMIX)

I hope your ears are prepared to get your face melted because R3HAB has put out a stellar production of Kiiara’s pop jam Messy. The remix has kick up the beat to one that will carry you right through summer.

CLARA MAE & JAKE MILLER - BETTER ME BETTER YOU

Two standout artists come together, to create pop magic and it’s delicious. Clara Mae and Jake MIller’s vocals are like butter dripping onto hot fresh bread. This liquid gold is too good you’re going to want seconds and I suggest you get your fill because Clara Mae will soon be on everyone’s list of must listen to artists.]

LIL XAN & CHARLI XCX - MOONLIGHT

Charli XCX has been working with everybody and with her talent and lyric geniuses it’s no wonder people like Lil Xan want to work with her. She’s the ‘it’ girl with a whole lotta of sass and when called for she knows who to work it.

CARLIE HANSON - MOOD

“Mood” will send your senses into overdrive. With a dreamy thick pop foundation and an underlying RnB tone, Carlie Hanson appeals to everyone thanks to the lightness of her message. “Mood” will chill you out and remind you to enjoy whoever, whatever, wherever.

DEMI LOVATO - SOBER

Ok so obviously this is not indie but Demi Lovato is my girl and I’m one to be there when she falls. For her singer “ Sober” the singer confesses her mistake sounding determined more than ever to come out stronger and better. And you know what, it’s all about owning up to your faults and getting back up and trying again. No shame in being human.

TWO FRIENDS - BANDAID

The song is about when you get together with someone just so you can get over the last person you were with- and you know it’s not gonna last, it’s just sort of a band-aid to help you heal,” says the band. I shamelessly confess been there done that but my story ain’t as cool as Two Friends singing about band-aids.

GIRLI - DAY MONTH SECOND

When Girli comes on you know sh*ts going to get loud and rowdy and if you’re an ex lover you better run and hide. One look at her eyes and you know she’s pissed and coming after you.

ST VINCENT - FAST SLOW DISCO

Apparently, we all need to give Taylor Swift more positive credit because she’s responsible for St Vincent’s rework of last year’s ballad of  “Fast Slow Disco” and it sounds amaze! And the video, oooo-eeee, better have a fire extinguisher close to you because it’s the steamiest three minutes of your life.

6LACK - SWITCH

6lack’s painful single “Switch” makes us want to cuddle him up in our arms and rock him till he’s healed. Whoever broke his heart needs to be thanked because nothing but beautiful lyrics have been pouring out of the crooner.

PETIT BISCUIT - WAKE UP FT BIPOLAR SUNSHINE & CAUTIOUS CLAY

We wrap up this week with good vibes from Petit Biscuit and bipolar Sunshine who team up on this feel good lullaby. It’s one top notch of a song that must be added to your playlist.
