BEST NEW TRACK: SIGALA CAME HERE FOR LOVE

Sigala - Came Here For Love

We Are: The Guard thinks that there is no better way to kick off summer than with a song named "Came Here For Love," an all-British affair with the combined talents of producer Sigala and vocalist Ella Eyre. Pack lightly and head for the beach, this one is just too hot for words.

Sigala, born Bruce Fielder, is no stranger to chart success. His collaboration with Ella Eyre, already a huge artist in the UK with several awards to her name, can be seen as a match made in musical heaven. Exuding a little Latin flare and islander charms, "Came Here For Love" is best suited as background music for a GoPro-shot vacation video. Just hearing it puts one in a state of wanderlust. I cannot wait to get back on the open road and blast this track down the coast, but I digress. As a typical electro-pop entry in the festival circuit, the vocals are easily the best part of the song.

SIGALA - CAME HERE FOR LOVE (FEAT ELLA EYRE)

Sigala has a knack for pairing powerful voices to his dance tracks. Eyre is a long line of talented vocalists to take the helm of a Sigala creation, including Hailee Steinfeld, Craig David, and Bryn Christopher. The voice of Ella Eyre is as powerful as a jackhammer, and easily takes center stage on this track. It is hard to ignore, and even better to enjoy.
