Bjork - Mutual Core (M Herbert's ReMix)

I have no actual evidence to back up this claim, but I'm fairly sure 95% of the vocals club/house/dance/EDM/whatever the hell we're-supposed-to-call-it-now are trying to imitate Bjork.

So it should come as no surprise that British DJ Matthew Herbert decided to remix the Icelandic princess's song "Mutual Core." Listen below to today's Latest Music Tracks: "Mutual Core (Matthew Herbert's Teutonic Plates Mix)

Herbert keeps Bjork vocals as the center-piece of the song, but he adds his signature brand of bleeps and synth-based bops. All in all this is the perfect track to listen to while pondering how tectonic plates actually work, or just to listen to.

This song appears on Biophilia Remix Series VI which is out now via One Little Indian Records and Wellhart. The Biophilia Remix Series VI also has Herbert's take on the Björk tracks "Sacrifice" and "Virus."

Thanks for checking out Bitcandy's Blogs On Music. Until next time.
