Best Videos: Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Sacrilege"
I'll be honest, I never thought Yeah Yeah Yeahs would last this long. Yet here they are, a decade after "Fever to Tell" taught us that not everyone loves you the same, cranking out best new videos like it's no one's business.
The New York trio has a new album due out this year, Mosquito, and today they released the first video off the record: "Sacrilege."
The video, starring Lily Cole and directed by Megaforce, is a great take on the video-in-reverse gimmick. An intricate story about a girl with a rampant sexual appetite and a small-town that seems to really want to satisfy her has been packed into this four minute piece. It's wonderfully plotted, gorgeously shot, and has a creep-factor of 10.

While the song isn't one of YYY's best, I could watch this video all day. Although I feel certain images of the townsfolk will be appearing in my nightmares soon.
Also, it should be noted that if town like this exists, you can bet your life on the fact that the loose female at the center of it looks nothing like Lily Carter. Sorry for ruining your fantasies, horny teenage boys who may be reading this.
"Mosquito" is out April 16th on Interscope.
