Best Of Covers Pt 3!

BitCandy's LA Music Blog presents our next set of favorite covers.  What's fun about covers is it's been said that there is no bigger compliment than someone else covering your song.  That artist is basically saying "Your song is the shit, I love it...and wish I would have written it."  So it's always interesting to see who's covering what.

And Yes, it seems that when Bon Iver ain't busy making workout videos (yes this is for real)...he's honing his songwriting craft by learning and interpreting some amazing songs that have come before him.

Thus, here is our latest batch of our favorite covers...kicking it off with a little pop gem "Bleeding Love" interpreted by Mystery Jets.  By the way, the story with "Bleeding Love" was supposed to be recorded for pop boy toy Jesse McCartney (who co-wrote the song with an unknown songwriter at the time named Ryan Tedder, the lead singer of One Republic).  The A&R person for Jesse never called back / didn't think it was a hit.  Leona Lewis scooped it.  Oopz.  Mystery Jets makes it cool.
