MOLLY BEANLAND - NIGHT DREAMS (NSFW)

How many of your fav movie sirens can you spot in this new visual? [Warning - nipple alert] from Molly Beanland (could be the best surname in music) is an 80's inspired power ballad & I love it! Londoner Molly is tipped to be a big noise this year from what I've heard (go to her cloud and read up on about her), plus playing this track over & over this week. The visual only has 700+ views - travesty.

NICOLE SABOUNE - CONQUER OR SUFFER

Nicole Sabouné is new on my radar, and if you follow these posts, you may have noticed I'm a tad obsessed about Scandiavian music, following it closely. I have to add that Sabouné is up there with the most interesting Scandi' female artists I've found. Her post-punk vibe is extremely accessible, her introvert ways captivating (watch Nicole's youtube channel), and her fist pumping angsty live shows fantastic. Debut album out this week is a must note.

YUMI ZOUMA - THE BRAE

Cascine have knack of turning over some truly great acts & their latest addition is New Zealand outfit Yumi Zouma, with their effortless dreamy pop. The first single, "The Brae," is already racking up the spins across the blogosphere. Could we have our first major buzz band of the year?

LAPSLEY - STATION

This 17 year-old Liverpool first popped up last year when she covered New Order classic, "Blue Monday," on her Monday EP. It was a great cover and her quality vocal was one to follow. Fast forward 2014 and Holly Lapsley Fletcher releases the "Station" video. This is her breakthrough track, it's huge, and she is about to get a whole heap of attention.

L W K Y - ATTENTION

The Australian's have been spitting out more talent than Justin Bieber has been firing eggs from his vagina, and it ain't showing any signs of stopping. L W K Y are the new obsession. Production duo Grays and Tristan have 6 tracks streaming on Soundcloud which includes a sick remix of Sampha's "Too Much" & personal favourite "Attention" - which is exactly what you should be giving 'em.

CARI CARI - WHITE LINE FEVER

It's only been 24 hours since this awesome new track graced my ears & I've already played it over a dozen times, plus tagged it as "the best track of the year" thus far, yes it's early days, Sherlock. The quality packed into this one song from Austria's Cari Cari is quite incredible - from the vocals to that stunning guitar magic, damn!

THUMPERS - GALORE

Introduced this duo last year with their ace single "Unkinder," which is still spinning on my personal playlist. The new track bolsters the promise in these guys. Unsure why it's tagged as Rock on their cloud? But hey, if we had some sunshine around at the moment, this little alt-pop number would fire up a BBQ.

MUTINEERS - LOVE, IT'S A KILLER

Manchester has long been a hotbed for turning over some of the UK's greatest Indie bands & one of the best on our Indie scene is Mutineers, who follow up last year's excellent "Tell Me Why" with this infectious new single, "Love, It's A Killer," which is also fronting their mini tour of the UK. I'll be chanting along to this one at their Glasgow show in March.

EMBRACE - REFUGEES

Embrace were a favourite back in the 90's & "Gravity" is a song that I'll always go back to. That said, I was a little hesitant about yet another comeback from Danny & co, and if they were going to cut a fresh sound 8 years on from the last release. Apart from a shit video, the comeback track isn't bad at all; judge for yourself.

ILLYIN PIPES - GRASSHOPPER

Every so often between surfing for new music, you're stopped by something a little more original than the other x number tracks just streamed. That was the case here with Toronto's Illyin Pipes & their downtempo indie vibe. Jill Harris' vocals really do it for me too. Hit play.

FALCONE - ARE YOU THAT SOMEBODY

Starcadian turned us on to this by posting he's just about to wrap up his latest ear movie (YUSSSIR!) that'll feature the alter ego of Aaron Alexis aka - Falcōn/Falcone. Here is his cover of Aaliyah's "Are You That Somebody" that's just dropped. It is big, dramatic and absolutely fuckin' bad ass brilliance!
