FAVORITE NEW EDM: ALISON WONDERLAND - CHURCH
Apparently, there are all kinds of days out there, such as it being Cat Day today. Here at We Are: The Guard, everyday is Good Listening Day, especially with the newest track from Alison Wonderland called “Church.”
ALISON WONDERLAND - CHURCH
Like me, Alison Wonderland is starting her roaring thirties with a bang. That is probably where the similarities end as this Aussie electro-pop producer is probably one of the most notable artists of the genre, worldwide. Pacing herself for the upcoming album named Awake, “Church” is the second drop from the promising sophomore bid.
“Church” is the best display of Alison Wonderland's skill-set, as she provides listeners with a slightly more vigorous interpretation of chillwave sensibilities. Like with her other works, she also provides the vocals for her productions. Despite being worthy of hype and replay value, “Church” does seem rather pedestrian, but does deliver thought-provoking lyrics. The best of her works might be her knack for developing amazing remixes rather than her own original material. This isn't an indictment on her abilities, rather a selfish plea to have her release harder-sounding stuff on her album.
