Best New Tracks: Kindness-That's Alright

Good day to you internet. Thanks for stopping by Bitcandy and checking out the Latest Music Tracks. Today's track comes from recent Best New Indie nod, Kindness. Listen to "That's Alright" below.

Generally when you hear a song infused with that much 80's style dance-pop, the band's tongue is firmly placed to its cheek. But that's not the case for Adam Bainbridge's latest project. It's clear that he has a real love for this style of music. This sax-dominated little ditty would fit right in with Paula Abdul's Straight Up, and similar tunes from that era.

This track seemingly captures everything that's great about the 80's, with just a splash of 2012 thrown in for good measure. Or to quote our commander and chief Glitch, it's "Jane Child meets Art of Noise meets Chairlift!"

"That's Alright" is off Kindess' debut record World, You Need a Change of Mind, which is out now via Polydor. Pick up at any and all retailers. Peace.
