Today's Candy: Yello - Oh Yeah

2/7/12

Ever since it featured during the infamous Ferrari scene in the cult 1986 flick, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, "Oh Yeah" has become the ultimate guilt-free anthem for gluttons everywhere -- sound tracking everything from shiny cars, fatty foods, beach babes to oiled Mr. Muscles.

Penned by Swedish two-hit-wonders, Yello (you may remember their other track, "The Race"), "Oh Yeah" failed to chart upon its initial release in 1985, only becoming a smash after John Hughes hand picked the vocoded track for the legendary Ferris Bueller soundtrack.

The song currently features in the Honda CR-V Commercial (set to air in full during this weekend's Super Bowl), which pays some serious homage to Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Check it out below.

It's too bad Ed Rooney got picked up for Child Pornography.  True story...Fucker.
