TOP NEW SONGS: CEMETERY SUN - STAY A WHILE
We Are: The Guard enjoys music from all genres, and the newest one from Cemetery Sun called “Stay A While” might tickle the fancies of any pop-rock lover, but just expands upon the range of the young, up-and-coming band looking to find footing in a saturated market.
CEMETERY SUN - STAY A WHILE
What can be said about the city of Sacramento? It's the capital of my home-state of California, and one boring place beyond that. However, Sac-town is also the base of the pop-rock quintet called Cemetery Sun. If you haven't heard of them before, it might be a start of a between discovery, as the band's sound is what draws radio play, nowadays. For people who enjoy OneRepublic or the current state of Imagine Dragons, Cemetery Sun fits that archetype quite well.
“Stay A While” sounds eerily similar to the aforementioned pop-rock groups, but if you are someone who enjoys that genre, this band provides that need. Yet, they are not really as pandering as I have described them, as their previous track “Piece of Sh*t” really draws upon that turn of the millennium modern punk rock that really can described as the genre that brought forth the Warped Tour. Still, “Stay A While” is a catchy track and follows that popular trend, but in my personal opinion, their punkish sound is the one I prefer for this Sac-town ensemble.
