Wild Ones, or How to Fail at Sampling

If you want a lesson in “How to Fail at Sampling,” then listen Flo Rida's new album, Wild Ones and the song, “Run,” to be specific. Here, Rida samples... get this shit... "Run to You" by Bryan Adams. No jokez!!! And yes, it sounds ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE (well, apart from Redfoo's raps...).

And don't think stealing a creddy indie chick sample from Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl's "In My Mind” will hide what a shit sandwich your song is, Rida. Seriously, it sounds all so wrong, imnsho (in my not so humble opinion) - kinda like when Jay Z spread his shmutz all over Rihanna's "Umbrella.”

Also, after the turd that was “T.H.E,” have rappers not learned to stay the fuck away from Jennifer “available for hire” Lopez?!?

Fact is, there are only two keepers on this album, "Wild Ones" and "Good Feeling.” But that's thanks to Sia and Avicii and fuck all to do with Rida himself, who tries and fails to fill the spaces between the choruses (the only decent parts of his tunes) with his half-assed flow.

Wild Ones? More like SHIT ONES!

Flo, take our advice: change your name to Florida and go retire your OAP rap in it.
