Pop That Doesn't Suck - Week 20 (10 Favs) 2013
While the world is losing its shit over the new Daft Punk album (I mean really...this gives a new meaning to the word overkill and media saturation), we were busy filtering through tonz of tunes to bring you the dirtiest and smoothest alternative pop tracks. Yes, good pop does exist. When I say pop, I ain’t talkin about the dark haired cabbage patch troll that dated Justin Bieber, I’m talking about explicit shit and sweet ass remixes that can only be found here on BitCandy. Scroll down and listen to the goodies we found for you this week.
Kendrick Lamar - Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe (Explicit)
Wait? All this time I was here thinking that the bitch who was trying to kill Lamar’s vibe was that booty shakin chick from Backseat Freestyle, not Molly. Mind has been blown. Damn it, Lamar, you’re a genius.
Phoenix - Trying To Be Cool (The Chainsmokers Remix)
Wondering why we keep featuring The Chainsmokers? Just listen to them, what’s not to like? Don’t know about you, but I feel hot and bothered when I listen to this remix. Oh and we made this lyric video to so god damn it subsribe to us on YouTube!
Katy B, Geeneus and Jessie Ware "Aaliyah" (Official Lyric Video)
Kids, no need to get high to feel high with this delightful little tune. Fellini would be proud. Footage taken from the most exceptional movie Nights of Cabiria (1957) but I’m sure y’all knew that.

Jay Z - Dirt Off Your Shoulder (Brillz & Z Trip Remix)
Yes guys, this shit just happened. Trap ain’t bad when it sounds this good, am I right? I know I’m right, cuz Jay Z liked it so much he premiered it on his station.
Blondie - Heart of Glass (Oliver Remix)
My gawwwd, speaking of remixing classics, turn this one up loud as you inhale your next puff. Bet you can’t stand still without wanting to dance to this.
The Hood Internet - Adornocene (Bon Iver x Miguel)
You’ve heard us brag about The Hood Internet before and guess what, you’re gonna have to hear me brag about em today. ***Eargasmic as fuck*** Is this what indie heaven sounds like?
Sam Smith - Latch (Acoustic)
Recognize the song? I’m sure you do. It was that guy whose voice you heard crooning over Disclosure’s song, "Latch." Does Sam Smith sound as good as I think he does or am I just blinded by his rosy pink cheeks?
Banks - Warm Water (Prod. By Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs)
In case you missed this on Monday due to robot hype, engage your earz to the newest track from the rising indie pop darling Banks and UK producer T.E.E.D. Lana Del Rey who?
Fitz and the Tantrums - The Walker
Taken from the band’s sophomore album, "The Walker" is a taste of the band's new direction in sound. Smart move on their part, if they want to survive in such a cutthroat industry. My only suggestion to them is to add cowbell, more cowbell.
Max Frost - White Lies
Keeping the best for last, newcomer Max Frost enters the arena with a homerun. Good looks, check! Great song, check! If you want to get noticed, this is the way to do it.
