MØ - DON’T WANNA DANCE

When I grow up I want to be just like MØ. I want to roll around in junkyards celebrating a very possible future breakthrough. Major #girlcrush. In the meantime I want to dance and grind up on everyone.  Be on the look out for her debut album, No Mythologies to Follow, dropping March 10th.

LE YOUTH  FEAT. DOMINIQUE YOUNG UNIQUE - DANCE WITH ME (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

I’m not sure what I liked the most: the David Beckham underwear ad prior to this Le Youth’s video or the epileptic disco mashup of TLC’s grammy winning track ‘No Scrubs’ and rising rapper Dominique Young Unique. Either way it’s a killer track with a great flow.

KENNA - LOVE IS STILL ALIVE [OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO]

When Kenna is not busy rebranding MySpace or modeling chonis (undies) for GAP he’s busy mixing sexy electronic/hiphop beats. According to the Keratin wax doll prophet a.k.a. Justin Timberlake, “Kenna is what the World needs to hear, they just don’t know it yet.” Well if J.T. says it then call me a believer.

BEAR HANDS - GIANTS (OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO)

Though the name of the track has really little to nothing to do with the lyrics, I dig it. The intro has very early 2000 feel to it that quickly dives into a warm bath. The more I play it, the more I love it.

BIRDY - SKINNY LOVE [OFFICIAL 2014 VIDEO]

I remember I once worked a summer at H&M, well more like 3 days. 24/7 constant replay of “Skinny Love” does a shit load of damage to one’s mental and emotional state. For sake of keeping memories alive, check out music video #2 for Birdy’s cover of ‘Skinny Love’ by Bon Iver. F.Y.I the video is EXACTLY the same as her first ‘Skinny Love’ video, with the addition of a Lorde feel to it, you know dark and stuff.

BISHOP NEHRU - YOU STRESSIN

Some old school beats coming out of this Disclosure production. I think the two are about to fully submerge themselves into the hip hop scene. And as for the 17 year old Bishop Nehru, the dude’s got sweet lyrical skills.

OWSLA producer Blood Diamonds delivers some booty droppin beats strong enough to get us through the hump of the week.

AVICII - YOU MAKE ME (DIPLO & OOKAY REMIX)

Ummm..heehee. Things just got awkward. I don’t know how this track made it on here. Perhaps to show you guys what a real drop sounds like? haha get it? Quickly moving on.

I’m channeling punk Circa: CBGB 1974. Loving the grunge and the crudeness. I’m making this the official BitCandy Valentine’s Day Song.

GEMS - DON’T CRY (SEAL COVER)

Is it Friday yet? Perfect for a session of blazin, I mean chillin while playing chess with Robin Thicke, and Gwen Stefani dancing in the background next to the pool as the sun sets over the smog that covers the Hollywood hills. But back to the music, Lindsay and Clifford blend so well and have a knack for creating rich, deep ear melting music. More please!
