Spending your Friday night alone? Not anymore, as BitCandy is here to keep you big, fat loners company. So without further ado, let's get naked and vibe to this week's top chillwave songs! By the way, make sure you hang around until the end, as there's a treat awaiting you at the conclusion of today's roundup. Props to the awesome Curators who helped me out with this week's pickings from Twin Shadow, Monsieur Adi, Childish Gambino and more. If you think you've got what it takes to contribute to any of our weekly roundups, then go and sign up to be a Curator!

TWIN SHADOW (FEAT. SAMANTHA URBANI) – THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT (THE SMITHS COVER)

Hold on to your ovaries, Zooey Deschanel. This could be the most hipster edition of the Under The Cvrs series yet! Twin Shadow has teamed up with Samantha Urbani of Friends in order to cover “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out” by The Smiths. I told you to hold on to them, didn't I?

GALIMATIAS & JOPPE (FEAT. GOLDLINK) – ONE STEP BACK

Today I learned dream rap is absolutely, definitely a thing. Today I also learned I can absolutely, definitely dig on that thing. Far more importantly, can you? Come on, don't be shy. Try it out! Rest assured you're in the safest of hands, as both Galimatias and Joppe are at the producing helm!

MONSIEUR ADI (FEAT. ELECTRIC YOUTH) – SOME KIND OF LOVE – CURATOR DUFFSTER

Holy fucking crap, you guys! One of my favorite producers, Monsieur Adi, has teamed up with one of my favorite artists, Electric Youth, in order to procreate a gorge electronic pop baby that hereby goes by the name of “Some Kind of Love.” Bring me that After Hours EP already, Monsieur!

OFFTHESKY – STRETCHES

Step back, you guys. This rarely happens, but I'm about to get fucking deep! I've always thought every human is blessed with a natural rhythm. Listen to your heart, to your lungs. They're moving at a constant beat, a constant melody. “Stretches,” in my opinion, is Offthesky's interpretation of that.

ADNA – NIGHT – CURATOR DUFFSTER

Hm, I take back everything I said about natural rhythm and shit! If I had natural rhythm, I'd write “Ode to Duffster,” thanking him for the great artists he has turned me on to over the years, the latest being German songwriter Adna. So do any of you talented assholes fancy giving it a shot, instead?

CHILDISH GAMBINO – I'D DIE WITHOUT YOU (P.M. DAWN COVER)

If you hadn't previously taken Childish Gambino seriously as an artist, now you have no excuses, cynical douchebags! Donald Glover showcases his ridiculously lovely voice on this cover of “I'd Die Without You” by P.M. Dawn. Stop laughing, it's hitting me in the fucking feels, you guys!

STONEFOX – ALL I WANT (WOLFSKIND & WHYMAN REMIX)

Even though the original was fucking stunning, Wolfskind and Whyman's deep house interpretation of “All I Want” by Stonefox is taking shit to another level for me! Oh man, those beach samples are making me Google vacation packages I can't even begin to afford. A blogger can dream, okay?

COM TRUISE – WAVE 1

Com Truise is a God, in a French ass restaurant, hurry up with his damn croissants! From one not so relevant pop cultural reference to another, “Wave 2” makes me feel like I'm dressed in a Scorpion bomber and cruising down a Los Angeles highway with Ryan Gosling. Com Truise is a God!

FYFE – LIES PT. II

Alright, alright! I'm aware this has been floating around the blogosphere for a couple of months or so now, but I'm going to assume most of you haven't heard it, since none of you bothered to let me know about it. Screw you, guys. Anyways, it's irrelevant how old it is as Fyfe is perfect regardless!

BITCANDY – WEEK 8 (MIXTAPE)

I'm finishing up today with not one, not two, not three, but thirteen fucking songs! That's right, there was so much shit to choose from this week, I decided to gather the excess together in a SoundCloud set for your listening pleasure. Hit play to check out Poolside, Thalab, Young Magic and more!

That's it for this week's top chillwave songs, you guys! I'm back on Friday with even more vibes. If you need something to do in the meantime, how about you thank me in the comments for being as awesome as ever, or if you think you've got what it takes, why not go and sign up to be a Curator?
