Best EDM Electro House - Week 45 2013

11/5/13

Welcome back to another installment of BitCandy’s Best EDM! You’ve survived Halloween, but you can’t survive another seven days of the same old dance music. We’re here to help: we’ve filtered out the crap to deliver to you the best of EDM, house, nüdisco, and more! No matter what music gets your heart going, you’ll find some here. We have so much great stuff this week, so why the hell are you still reading this?

TO THE MUSIC!

FLUX PAVILION FEAT. STEVE AOKI - STEVE FRENCH

Flux Pavilion and Steve Aoki, two of the hottest artist in electro house, teamed up to make a track for the ages. Combining the distinct styles of both men, we are left with a track that has its heavily stylized moments, while never going over the edge.

PHUTURE DOOM - 11/5

Out now is the Phuture Doom LP from OWSLA. You probably can’t handle it, though.

CHROMEO - OVER YOUR SHOULDER (MR. OIZO REMIX [OFFICIAL AUDIO]

Leave it to Mr. Oizo to take something sexy and make it a weird. We mean this in a good way, of course! Oizo strips out the vocals, so instead of Dave 1 serenading all the lovely ladies out there, it’s a horndog robot saying you have nice breasts.

FLUME - SPACE CADET FEAT. GHOSTFACE KILAH & AUTRE NE VEUT

Flume, Ghostface & Autre Ne Veut: need we say more? It’s just a preview, but we’re a little tempted to click the “pre-order now” button.

GROUP THERAPY 051 WITH ABOVE & BEYOND AND MAT ZO

Looking for the hottest EDM rolled into a convenient two hour mix? Look no further than this edition of Group Therapy with Matt Zo and Above & Beyond. Featuring new music from Deadmau5, Tiesto, Myon & Shane and Andrew Bayer, just put this on, pull out the fog machine and voila, you have a dance party!

A-TRAK & NICK CATCHDUBS PRESENT FOOL'S GOLD RADIO EPISODE 23 (OCTOBER 2013)

Master of mixes A-Trak is back with Catchdubs for another episode of Fool’s Gold Radio. Never wanting to disappoint, these two bring the heat with a big variety of style and tone. With hits like “Control” (Nom De Strip Remix), “Ghetto Guetta, ” Ta-ku - Electr(on)ic Relaxation,” this is a mix everyone can get behind.

PANAMA - HOW WE FEEL

Taking down the tempo and turning up the feeling is Panama’s “How We Feel.” Coming off of one of our favorite labels, Future Classics, this smooth jam is a little indie, a little nüdisco, and a whole lot of awesome. Check out Panama’s Always EP for three tracks of greatness from this Australian quartet.

FEED ME - FIASCO

If you haven’t listened to Calamari Tuesday, Feed Me’s latest full length, you’ve really dropped the ball. With 15 great tracks, including “Fiasco” and “Love Is All I Got” featuring Crystal Fighters, Feed Me’s debut LP has to be one of the best albums of the quarter.

SYMMETRY "THE HUNT"

Can you find the deeper meaning behind this video? Our guess is the hunt for happiness in the post-modern world. It’s a great track, highlighted with waves of synthesizers washing over one another to the backdrop of advertisements flashing before your eyes.

ARMIN VAN BUUREN - INTENSE FEAT MIRI BEN-ARI ANDREW RAYEL REMIX

The track's called “Intense,” so naturally it’s a big one. This remix by Andrew Rayel is a fresh take on the Armin Van Buuren masterpiece.
