Best EDM - Electro House - Week 24 2013

6/17/13

Bitcandy.com is back with more dance inducing music, covering EDM, electro house, nüdisco and everything else. We have a whole slew of shit this week, so make sure to catch it all.  All sorts of music news this week, with rumors of a ninth Kraftwerk album(!) Los Angeles is potentially getting big festivals back (!!) and Kanye West is now a father (...)

Okay, that last one is a drag, but the other two are great!  To the music!

A-Trak - "JUMBO" feat. Galantis (Official Video)

Here’s A-Trak’s latest video, this time featuring Galantis. We always love the Fool’s Gold honcho’s ocular installments, though this one might fall a little flat in comparison to his recent hits.

Far Too Loud - Trailmixing

A fairly loud track for Far Too Loud.

Kavinsky - Odd Look (Surkin Remix)

While there isn’t anything too crazy about this remix, it’s pure gold. Changing the original arpeggiation (which you hear in the intro) to a syncopated beat, the track changes tone from a dark, cinematic thriller, to a heavy French dance number. A-Trak just remixed this track, too.

Bestrack - Workout 2000

New full album stream from Frenchie electro man Bestrack.  I think we can agree a befitting name for this electro Frenchman.

Clockwork - Surge (Official Video)

We’re no scientists, but if you were made out of electricity, wouldn’t hanging out in the water be potentially dangerous to everything around you?

Fatboy Slim - Praise You (Maribou State Remix)

Martin Solveig & The Cataracs Feat. Kyle - Hey Now (Official Music Video)

One of the summer’s first feel good hits now has a video. Solveig & The Cataracs are self-proclaimed kings of the playground, enjoying as many cuties as the kiddy pool can hold. Look out for a few well known faces in this one.

Disco Fries - Open Your Eyes (Revelation) [Psychic Type Remix] *PREVIEW*

Big trap remix of an already huge track.

Bloody Beetroots feat. Paul McCartney and Youth - Out of Sight

We’re not quite sure to think about this combo of Sir Paul McCartney and BBR. On one hand, it’s pretty cool to see influential musicians from different genres collaborating to create something interesting. On the other hand, maybe it’s time Sir Paul stopped trying to be relevant and hang up his bass. What do you think: Yay or Nay?

Brooklyn Fire - Justified

No fooling around here, just straightforward electro house to move booty to.

Rémi Caumont - Breathe (Original Mix)

With BBQs and warm weather comes the need for some chill music to groove to without breaking a sweat. This is perfect for kicking it by the pool, blasting on the boat, or hitting the town.

DJ Friction - Nu Disco Your Disco Exclusive Mix (June 13)

If you’re ever in need of a great nüidsco mix, look no further than nüdiscoyourdisco, a soundcloud channel/blog who provides only the chillest, funkiest selections to move to.
