Out on Sony Music’s European imprint, Epic Amsterdam, “Show My Love Down” has lyrics all about rejection, but that’s really where any negativity ends. Even if featured artist MODD sings, “The heart's collecting dust / And our love was fake / Desire crushing trust / You’re a liar, not a lover,” it’s really the instrumentals that make this song— it’s positive with punchy saxophone work underneath impressive vocal range.

The fun vibes that emanate are no doubt infectious. It’ll pump you up and keep you there, but there is no abrasive synth work or heavy bass that can turn some of the older crowd away. It’s kind of impossible to not enjoy the track. It’s just pleasant for the ear and hits all the right notes to lift you up. It has enough gusto to even potentially get the wheelchair-bound elderly to spin.
