BEST NEW TRACKS: PEGBOARD NERDS - WHO THE F**K IS PAUL MCCARTNEY?

What we have here is a pretty blatant attempt to break the internet from the Scandinavian bros Pegboard Nerds. Their cool new song, “Who the F**k is Paul McCartney? (Kanye West x Jennifer Lawrence x Pegboard Nerds)” feels like a special combination of everyone’s favorite buzz-worthy celebrities.

Mixing Kanye’s “Diamonds in Sierra Leone,” along with his infamous Zane Lowe BBC Interview, and J-Law’s “Hanging Tree” from The Hunger Games soundtrack, Pegboard Nerds have some genuine next level sh*t on their hands. Lot of layers to peel through here. The track’s title of course comes from the Kanye song “Only One,” which he released just after the new year which featured Sir Paul McCartney. Some young people took to Twitter to ask who this McCartney dude was.

Hilarity ensued, obviously. And while this Pegboard cut doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the famous Beatle, it’s a pretty great reference. Oh, this song rules too.
