Love is in the air, can you feel it? Neither can I. BitCandy is flying solo, it’s bros before hoes for us. This year I’m going to buy me some chocolate and massage oils and canoodle with a pic of Katy Perry’s tatas. Did ya’ll see her 2 biggest accomplishments this past weekend? My gawd! They’re the main reason of why I stayed and watched the entire show.

Enough about my sick obsession, let’s get down to why we’re really here: Popkiller, DUH! We worked all week on this. It’s time for you to listen to some credible and uber edgy pop and hit songs 2013 that totally don't suck. I hope you’re ready cuz I sure am.

Haim - Falling

Let’s be honest...let’s just call this band Hymen. It’s what everyone is thinking...just like Dido has been renamed dildo. This is a “pretty” good tune from Hymen, but like I’ve been predicting it may be the biggest hype of the year.  Oh, where did I put those choruses? Maybe check under the sofa cushions? Still, this is a nice little “Hymen jam.”

Rihanna feat Mikky Ekko-Stay (Them Jeans Remix)

I for one love it when Rihanna remixes come our way. To my ears, they make her music bearable, mostly because I’m just paying attention to what’s going on in the background. Them Jeans did it right by keeping it pretty simple and adding a bit of pep to the mellow track.

Take note of my new BFF: Big Freedia is the diva of New Orleans Bounce. If you got 2 left feet like me, you’re in luck. She’ll have you booty poppin' and ass shaking like a pro before the song is over.

Grammys 2013: Bruno Mars, Sting and Rihanna honour Bob Marley

Who doesn’t like a little bit of a hot mess? This was one the best moments at the Grammys this year. So adorable how the entire audience was dancing and fist pumping. In a perfect world this would have been the closing act of the night. ‘Nuff said.

And how about this Grammy moment? 1984 huh? We haven’t had an album like this in 30 years. That year, MJ walked away with 8 Grammy Awards. It will be forever known as the year of the Thrillersweep.

Man, the radio stations are missing out on some pretty amazing artists. Ivy Levan makes Madonna's material girl image look like a dried out vagina. The chick is hot and she can sing.

The Qemists - 'Take It Back' feat. Enter Shikari

What a frightening apocalyptic delight. Listening to this collaboration of the two hard core bands is an experience. It’s gritty, fast, and loud. Do you guys like it as much as we do?
