Best New Tracks: Birthmark "Stuck"

Nate Kinsella drops Antibodies, his third studio album under the Birthmark moniker, on May 15th. Debut single, "Stuck," lyrically exposes us to an immobilized state of mind that is further enhanced through the constrained movements of the music. Beyond the repetitive rhythmic thuds, however, an synth fairytale subtly flourishes in the distance, but it is cleverly pulled back from any form of climax when the song dramatically cuts dead on the 4 minute mark.
