Drew Barrymore Directs Best Coast Video (Warning : Tears!)

Actress Drew Barrymore has directed a new video for beach pin ups Best Coast's track, "Our Deal."

The Romeo and Juliet/West Side Story-influenced video stars "Kick-Ass" actress Chloe Moretz (since when did she grow up so quick?) and "Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey as a pair of lovers caught in the midst of a murky gang-war.

Drew's new flick forms part of MTV's "Supervideo" series, which aims to "gives unique filmmakers the opportunity and artistic license to create a multitude of music video formats: short form narrative, montage, animation, abstract, and others, to the rhythm and beat of today's most exciting music."

Best Coast follow in the foot steps of Cults and LCD Soundsystem, who have also formed part of the series.

Check out the video, which is draped with 50s nostalgia, below. Warning, get your tissues at the ready, since I actually had tears in my eyes come the end (hey stop looking at me like that...).
