BEST NEW TRACKS: FATHER "LOOK AT WRIST (FEAT. ILOVEMAKONNEN & KEY!)"

It's hard to reconcile the south with the rest of the country. It is not hard to reconcile Hotlanta-based producer Father's top new song, "Look At Wrist (feat. iLoveMakonnen & Key!)."

With the help of fellow ATL natives iLoveMakonnen and Key!, Father has potential oddball hit on his hands. The track is some futuristic boom bap, as Father spatters in a series of variety of electronic bleeps and blips to compliment the drum-heavy beat. Self-describe Lil B disciple iLoveMakonnen is one of the rising stars in the rap game, especially the southern rap game, and he shows why as he carries this song along with Father. If there is a dull spot in this song, it's Key!'s verse that closes things. He doesn't seem to meet the same high standards that Father and iLoveMakonnen led with. But that's not enough to deter this song from being kickass. Give it a spin below:
