Hear Feist's New Track

8/18/11

It has been four years since Feist's breakthrough record, "The Reminder" -- the mother to that ditsy little sunshine track, which Apple deposited deep into our hearts, '1, 2, 3, 4'. Since then, the Canadian songstress has had herself quite a full timetable, balancing picking up Grammys, JUNOs, collaborating with plethora of ace artists (from Grizzly Bear, Beck to Wilco), temporarily rejoining Broken Social Scene and most recently, having her track "Limit To Your Love" rediscovered by 2011 'dubstep' sensation, James Blake.

Between all that hullabaloo, Leslie F has finally had time to work on some new material. "How Come You Never Go There" is the first single to be taken from the Canadian's upcoming fifth record, "Metals," released October 4th on Cherrytree/Interscope. Check out this jazzy number below, complete with tip tap percussion, sultry guitar riffs and of course, that clasically rich voice.
