LIFE IN SWEATPANTS - ARE WE ON THE SAME ROAD
If I ever had a band, Life In Sweatpants would be the best name to describe my life. Besides a hilariously-conceived name, there isn't much known by the general public. Drawing attention from the online indie circuit, their debut single “Girls” put the rookie band on the map. If you haven't given their first release a listen, it might one of the best debut singles of last year. So how do they sound one year older and one year wiser?
“Are We On The Same Road” is a soft and sensible approach by this faceless (for now) ensemble. Synth heavy and with supporting percussion synced to create a invigorating experience, the newest track from Life In Sweatpants tickles the fancies and underarms of everyone on the interesting looking for the next big indie smash. It has been a monster of a start for this future blockbuster. The shock factor is not quite to the level of their debut, but this might be a nice transition to even bigger and better things.
