NEW ARTIST FINDS: O U F

6/1/15

Swedish-English duo Our Underground Firm, or OUF for short, is beginning to make quite a splash with their dark and unique hip-hop sound. The duo consists of rapper Compulsive whose aggressive flow fits perfectly with producer Isolas (who also happens to be the producer of For BDK) and his compelling production skills. If you’re into alternative hip-hop with a futuristic flare and want something totally new, then you’ll definitely want to check these guys out.

O U F - YOUR LIFE

“Your Life” is a solid hard-hitting track that is destined to grab them some well-deserved attention. Featuring a fast-paced ticking beat, hypnotic electronic elements, and memorable lyrics that instantly become stuck in your head, the catchy and well-crafted track will have you coming back for repeat listens in no time.

O U F - CRISIS (FEAT. CHRIS HAXA)

On “Crisis” the duo teams up with Chris Haxa for a wonderfully dark and twisted track. The track begins with deeply distorted vocals and haunting electronic elements before breaking into a unsettling beat with frantic robotic vocals. After about 1 minute in, you’re sucked into menacing electronics that give the track a industrial yet futuristic feel. It’s easily one of their strongest tracks and showcases Isolas’ knack for production.

O U F - SLUMBER CITY

Featuring dizzying synths, hard-hitting drums, and Compulsive’s effortless flow, “Slumber City” is another one of their tracks that you’ll definitely want to check out. As the track continues the intensity grows, and once the chorus begins to take off about 40 seconds in, you’ll find yourself lost in the epic yet totally catchy track.

Since I’m sure you liked what you heard and want more from OUF, head on over to the duo’s Facebook page and give them a “like!”. And lastly, if you need even more awesome new music in your life click here.
