New Artist Finds: Bipolar Sunshine

WOOOOOOAHHHH OOOOAHHH AHHHHH (yelled in south park style accent) Heaven let your light shine down!!!! Yeahhhhhh boyeeeee, Sorry, guys sometimes Collective Soul lyrics just have to be screamed out at the top of your lungs. Well, at least the rest of you still have your sanity, as I'm spending day after day alone in my room watching filth like the new lil wayne video come across my feed...I clearly am beginning to lose it, but HEY look it's sunny out, so all is well...and that's why today's featured artist is Bipolar Sunshine.

I don't know too much about him, but let's just imagine what it would be like if Bloc Party was holding a private party in Jamaica and The Books were in control of djing / sampling, and then all of a sudden out of the bushes walked Paul Simon and Shabalala and whoever else does vocals on "Homeless" off of Graceland. Wayyyy more blissed out though. Yeah, wayyy more relaxed. But super trendy and swagged out like...

Eazy-E = mc2

I mean maybe that's what my old man ears are making out in terms of the soundwaves, but it's pretty friendly. And the Toyboy and Robin remix of "Rivers" is hyptnotizingly-catchy as well..

So, now that we've got your feet moving a little bit, why don't you go do something help us filter out some of the awful garbage we have to sort through in order to hitcchaa with the real goodiess. Speaking of goodies. I don't know about you but I happen to love these Flatbush metal-heads Unlocking the Truth. And if you think you know metal, I would swear these kids are at least 25 years old...except they're like 12, writing books, wearing nail polish, writing songs about being bullied for wearing nail polish, and playing fake "world tours" in their basement...friggin' scene kids are back!
